Bear Creek Maintenance is excited to grow our team of mechanics and is currently seeking a full-time 2nd or 3rd Year Heavy Duty Technician. The successful candidate should be excited to join a fast-paced work environment and interested in growing their career with a shop that will support them in their career development. This individual will be a fundamental part of our business’s growth and service excellence.

Apprentice Heavy Duty Technician (2nd or 3rd Year)
Fluent in written and spoken English
Clean Driver’s Abstract
Experience working on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
Analytical and troubleshooting skills
Able to read, operate and comprehend computer diagnostics
Able to use online portal for timesheets, filling work orders, etc.
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to follow instructions
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety
Additional Safety Tickets would be an asset
CVIP Certification would be an asset
Diagnose mechanical problems
Work with shop management to maintain schedules and priorities
Follow procedures and guidelines as established by Bear Creek Maintenance
Complete all documentation associated with mechanical repairs of equipment
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
Attend company training programs as required
Maintain a positive and professional relationship with other mechanics, drivers, and operational staff
Have basic tool requirements as established by Bear Creek Maintenance
